in it to win it

Back yes, and there will be tons of posts aboot SDCC. Well it seems that this year My cohort Nick and I spent most of our time buying things for other people. Which in hindsight sucks! We bust are rumps for everyone else. but we did get some good stuff and this had to be the most relaxing con since we have been 4 years straight and we know what we are doing.
here is a pic of most of the goods. Only like 4 things are actually mine. insert frowny face here

These are actually all mine. Prints and a sweet sweet sweet sketch I got on canvas by Craola. My Brandt Peters print is #1 too. Others include attaboy, edwin Ushiro, and Yoskay

VEGAN TOFU ZOMBIE

Applehead Factory will have their 2008 SDCC Exclusive "white" Tofu, the Vegan Zombie 7" tall vinyl version at booth #4923. Created by a scientist looking to cure zombie-ism, Tofu is a friendly, undead vegan. The figure (limited to 150 pieces) has 5 points of articulation, a fully sculpted produce base, apple crate-like window packaging and a removable tofu block. It should run $35 each.

THANKS JAMES

PeE music review = THE DUTCHESS AND THE DUKE

"My friend Ellie seems to be in tune with many of the new "hipster" bands. These bands run the fine line of being landmark breakthru masterpieces and at the same time being fecal droppings I would not let my dog eat.
So I finally gave a listen to THE DUTCHESS AND THE DUKE since I have heard many new things about them.
And I will just say this is the year two thousand and something not the 60's and who smokes the whacky weed besides hippies at burningman or East Nash. This crap would be good decades ago, but at the time being, don't waste your time. Go save the world and put the guitar back on the shelf!

Kevin smith at SDCC

Fans of Kevin Smith will rejoice. He posted this on his blog last Sunday:

"I’ll be in attendance at San Diego yet again this year, and it’ll be a pretty busy Con for me: as of right now, I’ll be doing four panels.

The big panel, the one I do every year, will happen Friday night from 6:30 to 8pm (right after the Entertainment Weekly panel I’ll also be a part of). Naturally, there’ll be a "Zack and Miri" slant to the appearance so I’m sure we’ll rock a clip or two. Hopefully, we’ll also have some special guests for you as well."

My review of Wanted and some TV

this show was not what I thought. I didnt think it was a reality show at all. I went in thinking pure game show and pure calamity, but i only got 1/3 that. the other 2/3 is reality tv show drama and people fighting and acting like assbuckets.
Give me the crazy and funny japanese game show part and the japanese but leave the stupidity elsewhere

Ok Wipeout
I dig this show. You know it is the japanese game show ripoff of silly challenges and what not like Ninja Warrior etc... The show makes me wanna do the course every damn time. I dont think I would do good at it but it would be damn fun. The announcer guys arent funny but the show is entertaining to watch.

Ok Wanted
You dont go into alot of films thinking it is gonna be groundbreaking and making you salivate like Star Wars or the new upcoming Batman. You go in expecting a slightly over the top action flick that isnt too bad and not too cheesy. Well thats what WANTED was. no I didnt go see it for the eye candy of Angelina ( i do think she can put on a few pounds too boney in the face), i went just to see the movie. It was what i wanted (no pun intended). it had lots of action scenes and an average plot that could be seen lightyears away. So all in all not too bad. My only major complaint is Morgan Freeman, it seems like they tried to make him Samuel l Jackson or something. Morgan Freeman doesnt say "mother fucker" like that!
sheesh

What they think
