This week has been a bear on alot of us. Many friends from town and I lost a friend this week, a guy we all have known for over 15 years. and to top that off, on the day of the funeral, my father was rushed to the hospital and i missed said funeral.
but the week is now over so i will bid farewell to this past week.
and in fashion, I joined the Valentinos at the best japanese dining facility in Nashville. I call it Sonny Bono because thats what it looks like in the name. Anyway, when I took Japanese my ptof took us there to eat and ever since then BAM it is the place for the most authentic in this landlocked town of ours.
The three of us joked all night and finally had laughs we needed. We also admired a very small child eating chicken strips with chopsticks. My veg bento box ruled and then we went to the red door to sit on the deck.
Its been a rough year for alot of us, we dont need anymore weeks like what we all just had.

Triplet threat!

Time for a funny story I learned yesterday of my sister's triplets. Well the dynamic triad is all running for elementary school senate of some sort. Now, they aren’t running on the same ticket but against each other and some poor child they call M&M. Now the triplets being all 100% different in size, shape, and attitude they all have their own approach to running. Except they all know how to bribe the other youngsters. All three begged my mum (their grandmother) to make her diabetic death brownies to give to the voters. So my mum made 3 batches of these brownies and sent them on their way. Well the teacher soon banned the brownies after there overdose of sugar made him tired. So 2 batches of brownies got sent back home. Anyway, yesterday they had to give their speeches well they went this way:
Allison is running a GREEN campaign. This is very good for a 9 year old but at the same time she really doesn’t have a clue except that it is a hot topic and I bring it up when she comments on my sea shep shirt. In her speech she promised to make the playground greener and they would all work to reduce energy and clean the place up. My sister tried to convince her telling the voters they will work usually isn’t a good idea.
Keri is just doing her thing. Keri is the triplet I send out to karate chop my friends when I take her to hockey games and she tends to jump into things feet first literally. She has never met a little kid that she wont befriend nor a food she wont eat usually (I say usually because my sister has them programmed that what their uncle Brad eats is odd/bad). The only thing she really wanted to emphasis in her speech is and I will quote this “I will get rid of that weed with thorns on the playground that scratches us”. Hahahaha
Hunter has a future in this game. Hunter is always running some scam for Pokémon cards or videogames. He knows how to play the aunt and grandma to get his way, so of course he is going to play a dirty race. Hunter’s speech involved saying “I know Allison and Keri are good, but I’m better. Now I could tell you how great I am, but I don’t have enough time in my speech to tell you all those things” bahahahaha and his tagline is “If you watch TV, vote for me” bahahahaha
This coming from a kid who wants to be a waiter when he grows up because he thinks he would get free food.

I busted out the Lizard

Today while deciding on who brings in the sodas/water for orientation tomorrow someone said we should rocks paper scissors it, but being a science dept. someone said lets do the spock version. Now I think I was the only one that got this reference and I guess the person saw BBT last night since it was that episode. So ROCKS PAPER SCISSORS LIZARD SPOCK is the way to go.

The Failed Narrative Hypothesis

Updates from the flor i guess.
So for the people that read this horrible rendering of my thoughts, perversions, dreams, ideals, etc.. here is an update into my whats going on with me. As usual, most dont have that much a clue aboot me, so every droplet i divulge is i guess an odd occurance.
-my new job is good. i play with weird stockpiles of science things and i listen to the custodian tell weird stories.
- for a week now my stomach has been a pain. it has weird cramps at various times. i went to see the doc and no ulcer or anything just stomach lining inflation they think, and now i have a pill and some chalk shit to drink.
- going to Atl in a few weeks for Dragon Con and see friends from all over the world
- got my house kinda rockin. need some cabinets to display shit, but im ready for board game nights and pancake cookoffs.
- ive been listening to a weird combo of reggae, le sexoflex, deadguy, frightened rabbit, and explosions in the sky
- kinda gotten hooked on Big Bang Theory, pissed i missed their panel at sdcc. speaking of two sdcc pics below

I saw Inglorious Basterds last week in a movie sneak/focus group.
It was still raw edit too. Well here is a blunt breakdown
movie = good but slow at times and humor was good
Brad Pitt = awesome
soundtrack = let down
historical correctness = yeah right
Tarantino = exacrtly his style



I saw FUNNY PEOPLE last night. I liked this movie and it was funny and crass. Sandler is really dark in it and Seth kicks ass. Slow in alot of points but not bad.
