So after hearing aboot a new more "upscale" mexican place opening in edgehill that has tofu burritos, I realized this was a must to try.
Last Saturday, a friend and I headed over near Vandy to check it out. First impression = laid back not low brow mexican, but still not much else going on in the building. Rosario's is the place. Ample seating inside with an upstairs and outside seating. We got seated very quickly and were given a "soft" opening menu. which of course made me thing the real opening is a "hard" opening? come on sheesh.
ok so lets just cut to the chase. the menu wasnt the full menu due to non grand opening. they had a tofu burrito that we got without cheese and sour cream. BUT we never got chips and salsa!!! this is a mexican place, where the hell are they (i later found out you have to pay for those) any way, the burritos came and were rather large with ample green sauce on the side and some pico. the tofu was well seasoned and shredded not bricked. It totally reminded me of Pokez in San Diego some.
The price for two tofu buttitos was roughly $17. So all and all not bad. the wait staff was VERY friendly and well attentive.
Only complaint was no chips and salsa.
that is all now go eat there
