by the way did I mention Craola is a badass? Dude is real chill and sleeved up. I talked to him last year in san diego. he listens to cursive which i find odd only because i was expecting hatebreed for some reason.

Deathbot SNAFU Print
Frequent GAMA-GO artist and good friend, Joe Ledbetter, has done a fantastic print. The Deathbot SNAFU. This is a Giclee on a heavy canvas with a semi-gloss coating. We've had them professionally stretched on wooden bars. They are ready for framing.
These prints look as close to an original painting as you're going to find. Truly an amazing design and a fantastic print.
Numbered and signed by Joe. We are only making 80 of these prints.
On sale Wed April 25th at 11am PST. One per customer.

just read this from a tara mcpherson interview
" “Frank Kozik told me about this project involving 100 Darth Vader masks that are being painted by different artists for a show,” she said. “Now who wouldn’t want to do that?!”

Fuck! this sucks
alright im sad now. im part of a vinyl/art community where a good amount of us put our collections and selfishness aside and help others. Over the past year i helped out one of my fellow members with donations of money and parts of my collection to auction to benefit his 3 year old daughter Ava has a pediatric cancer called nerublastoma. and mu little donations along with numerous others were to help her treatment.
i just read this email
"I'm not sure if this has been posted yet; I know many of the board members have given generously to try to help Ava and her family. This was just emailed to me:
AVA our brave, beautiful fighter passed away this morning at 2:18am at
cedars sinai medical center.
she went in to get blood and platelets when a tumor near the top of
her nose pressed on her brain causing her to instantly lose her speech
and motion. it was as if she was paralyzed. she then started to have
trouble breathing and needed a respirator we had no advance warning.
she could not even blink. it was the worst thing i have ever
experienced in my life.
she is now resting in peace playing with her dolphins and seahorses.
before her heart stopped, i promised her no more pokes, medicines,
painkillers, bone marrow aspirations, mri's, ct scans, chemo etc...
we plan on scattering her ashes near catalina island in honor of
carole hurvitz, karen ross and her incredible team ashes will also
be scattered in san francisco in honor of dr. louis chesler, kate
matthay amy s, and his amazing team...
Behrooz Hakimian, MD Radiation Oncologist Cedars-Sinai, you are truly
compassionate, we will never forget what you did for us.
we have no doubt that you guys supported and did all that you could to
help save our daughters life.
neuroblastoma is horrible. one day there will be a cure....NO child
should suffer as ava did.
those who were lucky to meet our daughter know that ava truly lived
life to the fullest in her short 3 1/2 years.
she truly lived life each day as if it were her last with not a care
in the world.
we all should remember that life is so beautiful. time is short, use it well.
with much love and peace to beautiful little ava,
larry & ally
photo is the last one we took before she passed away"
im sorry guys, i really am

Smery Tofu Spicy Edition out ow
Us Veg heads love this shit
Kidrobot exclusive SMERY TOFU is now out
From KR
This little stinker is Devilrobots' latest addition to their Tofu empire. Inspired by the unusual Taiwanese delicacy of fermented bean curd, Smery is a rotten little blockhead that can't even handle his own stink. Poor guy, his Friday nights must be pretty boring... unless of course his friends have stuffy noses.
This Spicy Red colorway of Smery is a Kidrobot exclusive and stands approximately 5-Inches tall. Beware though, we take no responsibility for stinking up your home*.

Want free tickets to a movie premiere at the film festival?
"Hi! There's a new movie that's premiering at the festival called "Americanizing Shelley" and the Director has contacted me to see if I could find any volunteers to put up posters or hand out fliers in the week leading up to the premiere. (April 27th is the premiere date.)
You can see more about the movie here: Americanizing Shelley and it's already gotten a lot of critical praise. It stars Beau Bridges, Wil Wheaton and Namrata Singh Gujal.
The Director of the movie, Lorraine Senna, has also directed "The Sopranos", "Babylon 5", "Lois & Clark" and about a million other things and she has said she'd love to spend some time with the people who volunteer to help out. That's on top of the free tickets to the movie screening. So it's a chance to meet an awesome Hollywood Director and see a movie for free...
If anyone's interested or has any questions, you can email me at info @ beyondthebuzzmarketing . com (without the spaces!) and just put Nashville Film in the subject line.
Thanks!!!
x-posting to a couple of places, so apologies ahead of time if your flist gets cluttered! "
